iPad Sweepstakes Rules

OFFICIAL RULES

  1. No purchase is required to enter or receive a prize. A purchase does not increase your chance of winning. The sweepstakes runs from September 1 through December 31, 2010. To enter, visit www.MyDailyDeals.com, LLC and follow instructions to sign up for the daily deals Emails. No incomplete entries will be accepted. One entry per valid Email address is allowed. All entries must be completed by midnight CST on Friday, December 31, 2010. Persons who had previously registered with MyDailyDeals.com prior to the September 1, 2010 registration date, who remain on the MyDailyDeals.com distribution list will also be eligible for the sweepstakes drawings.
  2. One (1) grand prize winner will be selected each month starting in October, 2010 via a computer generated, random drawing conducted by MYDAILYDEALS.COM, LLC from all eligible entries received online to date who remain on the MyDailyDeals.com distribution list at the time of the drawing. Depending on additional prize availability and at the discretion of MyDailyDeals.com, LLC, secondary prize drawings may also be conducted. Drawings will take place on or about October 1, November 1, December 1, 2010. Odds of winning depend upon the number of entries received. Decisions of MYDAILYDEALS.COM, LLC and any designated judges are final in all respects. Prizes cannot be transferred, redeemed for cash or substituted except by MYDAILYDEALS.COM, LLC. The winners will be notified by E-mail and will be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release which must be returned within 5 days of receipt, or an alternate winner may be selected. The owner of the Email signature is presumed to be the winner. In the event that two or more persons are sharing the same winning Email, a drawing will be held from all names claiming to be associated with that Email address. Only one grand prize will be awarded per month. During the term of this promotion, only one grand prize or secondary prize may be won by a single registrant. By entering this sweepstakes, each entrant agrees to be bound by these rules and consents to the use of his/her name, voice, likeness, photographic or video image, and hometown without additional compensation, for any and all publicity purposes carried out worldwide by MYDAILYDEALS.COM, LLC, unless prohibited by law.
  3. Three (3) grand prizes will be awarded. The grand prizes and their scheduled award dates are:
    • An iPad (October 1, November 1, and December 1, 2010)
  4. The MYDAILYDEALS.COM, LLC iPad Sweepstakes is open to all legal residents of the State of Texas, who are registered members of MyDailyDeals.com and who are at least 18 years of age by October 1, 2010, except employees of MYDAILYDEALS.COM, LLC, any participating retail outlets, their affiliates, their radio sponsors, or advertising agencies and their immediate families or persons residing in the same household. The term immediate families includes spouses, grandparents, parents, siblings, children, and grandchildren. Void where taxed, prohibited or restricted by law and subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Taxes are the sole responsibility of the grand prize winners. MYDAILYDEALS.COM, LLC will supply the winners with a 1099 tax form. The grand prize winners must present a valid Social Security number before claiming their prizes. MYDAILYDEALS.COM, LLC, its representatives, agencies and employees, are not responsible for any changes or difficulties in prize delivery.
  5. All prizes are awarded without any warranty whatsoever, including any WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE which is expressly disclaimed. By participating in this sweepstakes, participants agree to abide by and be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of any designated judges, which shall be final in all matters relating to this promotion. If a participant is found in violation of these rules he/she may be required to forfeit her prize. By accepting a prize, participants agree to hold MYDAILYDEALS.COM, LLC, their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, the promotion administrator and each of their respective directors, officers, employees and assigns harmless from and against any and all claims, damages and liability of any kind arising from or in connection with the acceptance, possession or use/misuse of any prize, or participation in the promotion or in any award-related activities, and assume all liability therefore. All entrants, participants, and the grand prize winners agree and understand that the eligibility and opportunity to win are further conditioned upon the sponsor’s determination as to eligibility and compliance with all contest rules and requirements. MYDAILYDEALS.COM, LLC reserves the right to make rule or sweepstakes changes without notice at any time. MYDAILYDEALS.COM, LLC also reserves the right to change the aforementioned sweepstakes dates without notice.
  6. MYDAILYDEALS.COM, LLC is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected or mutilated entries. MYDAILYDEALS.COM, LLC is also not responsible for any errors or omissions in the text or for printing or typographical errors in any promotion related materials; or online transactions that are processed late or incorrectly or are lost due to computer or electronic malfunction. MYDAILYDEALS.COM, LLC reserves the right to cancel or modify the sweepstakes if fraud or technical failures compromise the integrity of the promotion as determined by MYDAILYDEALS.COM, LLC in its sole discretion. MYDAILYDEALS.COM, LLC is not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone failures of any kind, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission whether caused by MYDAILYDEALS.COM, LLC, the user, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the promotion or by any technical or human error which may occur in the process of submissions which may limit a participant’s ability to participate in this promotion.
